I received these burgundy wedge boots a couple months back and have been waiting for the weather to cool down enough in California to wear them. This weekend we had some light rain and colder weather that was perfect for boots and light layers. Although I enjoyed a chillier weekend, The colder weather seems to be short lived. It is supposed to warm back up to 80 degrees for Thanksgiving weekend.

A glimpse of the past two weekends through pictures on my iphone. My sister was married last weekend at The Donald Trump Golf Course and the bridal party got ready at the gorgeous Terranea Resort nearby. It rained earlier in the day, but cleared up and turned into a picture perfect day. My sister is leaving to her honeymoon in Bora Bora this week and I couldn’t be more jealous!

My husband and I spent Saturday celebrating Halloween early at a friends party in San Diego. Usually I like to spend time making my costumes, but this year was very last minute, and I threw together a costume on Friday night. I saw these pretty lace bunny ears at BCBG and decided to build a simple costume around them.

This weekend was my sisters wedding weekend, Saturday and Sunday were filled with events for her wedding. Before her wedding weekend started,  I drove Friday night to Santa Barbara to surprise my friend at her birthday dinner. These are a few pictures we snapped before the dinner.
