Finally getting around to sharing Liam’s nursery photos, four months late! With my husband studying for the bar, a lot of things have been put on the back burner as Liams needs are my first priority. Also, trying to entertain a baby in a bouncer while taking photos is not the worlds easiest thing to do. Lets just say it took me more than one attempt to finish taking the photos.

I enjoyed every second of planning this nursery and probably spent way too much time obsessing over every detail (my husband would definitely agree). As funny as it may sound, picking the paint color was the hardest part. Revealing how many paint swatches and samples I went through would be way too embarrasing. In the end, I decided to make a custom color by mixing three paint colors together and having it color matched. My husband may have found my attention to detail a little crazy, but he was still sweet enough to distress the shelves, build the closet, and hang all of the pictures for me.

The goal was for the nursery to have a calm and relaxed feel. Anticipating the long nights I was going to spend awake in the nursery, I wanted it to be a place I loved being. The theme for the nursery was build around the art prints I found on Etsy. Ever since planning my wedding, I have a real love for Etsy. Anytime I am planning a party or redecorating it is one of the first places I look. I tried to list everything above, let me know if I missed something!

  2. I cannot get over how beautiful this nursery is! I am actually pregnant with my first child and found this mobile on Etsy a few weeks ago and can’t wait to buy it and put it in my baby’s nursery! 4. I just fall in love with the wall color !
Can you tell me what is the brand and the reference of the color ?
Sorry with my aproximative english !
    Looking forward

    • Hi Camille! I actually mixed 3 colors together and had the custom color matched for the walls. I wish that I could remember the exact 3 colors, but I do not =(. All 3 colors were from Lowes and Home Depot and were in the very lightest blue/grey swatches.

  5. Can I ask where you got the light fixture? Thanks!

    • It is from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child! They have sales often 20% off for friends and family and I think half yearly 30% off on all light fixtures =)

  6. This is so gorgeous, love how the whole room is relaxing yet with a touch of glam. Where did you get the bedding and the crib skirt?

  7. Can I ask where you got the beautiful crib skirt?

  8. This nursery is absolutely beautiful! Would you mind sharing where you got the starburst mirror? Thank you! You baby is so precious!

  9. Your nursery is absolutely gorgeous. For your closet, did you use elfa shelving from the Container store or did you go with a cheaper option? Also, love how you shoot some of your fashion pics at the Malaga Cove library!
