On our last day in D.C., I woke up to light snow on the ground. It was the only glimpse of snow we saw on our trip. Sadly, the snow fall quickly turned into rain.

My husband and I just got home last night from our trip to the East Coast. The first 4 days of our vacation were spent in New York. We stayed in the W in Times Square, which was a perfect central location for walking around the city. Going to New York during Christmas time is such a fun experience with the city fully lit with Christmas lights. A city full of decorations and chilly weather is perfect for the holiday season.

If you have been following me on instagram you know that I have been on the East Coast since Tuesday. My husband and I spent 3 days in New York and then headed to Washington D.C. to spend Christmas with my husbands sister and her husband.
Our first day in New York we walked from our hotel in Times Square to Central Park and spent the day there. The weather was pretty chilly, but I welcomed the drastic change from California weather.

Less than two weeks after my sister and her husband returned from their honeymoon, they added a new member to their family. On Saturday I went to visit Their new puppy Sampson, A German Shorthaired pointer. I thought I would share a few pictures I took, because who doesn’t love an adorable puppy with big paws?
My husband and I will be going to Palm Springs to spend thanksgiving with his family. Happy early Thanksgiving to everyone, have a fun and safe holiday weekend!
