Time has been flying by recently and after hitting the 36 week mark on Saturday I am starting to get a little nervous. There is still so much to do in preparation for the baby, not to mention I have not officially picked out a name yet. Picking a boys name has been a huge challenge for me and I only hope I can find one soon!
My belly really grew in the past week and most of my tops are too short to wear at this point. I have been keeping most of my outfits simple and comfortable from day to day. Not wanting to spend a lot on Maternity clothes, so far I have bought some maternity T-shirts from target and the belly band have been a life saver. Mostly, I have been sticking to regular tops and dresses one size up to compensate for my bump.

I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and getting anxious with how fast my due date is coming! I stopped blogging at the beginning of my pregnancy because the first 20 weeks were extremely difficult for me. I suffered from a very extreme form of nausea that lasted all day long. I was unable to keep many fluids or foods down and because of that became extremely dehydrated and lost a lot of weight. I had to receive IV fluids constantly and was on Zofran to help minimize the nausea. For months I could not really do anything and relied completely on others for help doing simple daily activities. It basically felt like I had food poisoning for months. I had heard that some women dealt with this through out their entire pregnancy and that was my biggest fear. Thank goodness it did not last the whole pregnancy for me, and at 21 weeks I was able to stop the Zofran and eat and drink normally. The rest of my pregnancy has been going pretty well and I feel blessed that I have been able to finally enjoy it! I have been planning to start blogging again for awhile and I am so happy to finally be doing it again. Hopefully you guys like the new layout. I’m excited to be back to blogging!

On our last day in D.C., I woke up to light snow on the ground. It was the only glimpse of snow we saw on our trip. Sadly, the snow fall quickly turned into rain.
